It is well known that luxury hotels offer an outstanding service. However, not all luxury hotels offer an exclusive butler service for their guests.
.
A lot of people think that the butler and concierge services are the same. In a few words, hotel butlers look after the needs of guests inside their rooms, such as unpacking luggage and ironing clothing, while a concierge caters for the needs of the guests outside the room, generally restaurant reservations and booking shows or tickets.
.
Obviously not all luxury hotels are the same so these tasks will vary from place to place. I have seen quite a lot of hotels offering butlers these days and in some hotels this assistance truly makes a difference on the hotel experience. Check out below my top 3 luxury hotels with the most impeccable butler services ever.

The Lanesborough – London
.
No doubt this is my first option because the iconical hotel located between Green Park and Hyde Park in London has been offering a hotel butler service for many years.
.
The hotel has 25 highly-trained butlers in their team and the service is really exclusive making the butler an over-the-top personal assistant who will know about the guests before their arrival to the hotel and cater for their needs and wishes throughout their stay.
.
It’s important to note that The Lanesborough is the only luxury hotel in London to offer a 24-hour butler for every room and suite. And this is what I call exclusivity.

The Palms – Turks & Caicos
.
The Palms hotel in Turks & Caicos has 72 suites but only 8 of those are penthouse suites offering an exclusive butler service for an additional fee. A butler in this exclusive resort can perform tasks such as organising your clothes in the closet, handling in-room dining requests, making drinks and scheduling treatments at the spa. Usually butlers are requested to attend to more specific needs. For example, they can help to set the stage for a special romantic proposal on the white sand of this unique island.

Belmond Hotel Monasterio – Cusco
.
This historical 16th century monastery in Cusco was transformed by the Belmond Hotel group into one of the finest hotels in Peru. A butler service is available for the guests with the services that are expected from a butler.
.
What really surprised me however are the “Andean bath butlers” who specialize in creating baths to suit a guest’s specific desires. The bath menu includes candles, aromatic salts, essential oils, rose petals and also Champagne, chocolate and Peruvian cigars to complete the experience. Very tempting indeed !
